I’ve thought about little else but the video I saw yesterday. One in which a little boy was huddled in a corner against a wall and the back leg of a bench sitting at the wall of a building.
The little boy was clearly starving as you could see that skin covered bones and there was not on iota of fat on the child.
A man hunched nearby offering the little boy some food. He had to bring the food right up to the child’s face before the child would take it, then the little boy took a big bite of the two pieces of bread and gave it back to the man. He didn’t want to take more than he was allowed, and fear made him give it back although the little one was clearly starving.
The man offered it again to the boy and the little one took more. He couldn’t get it in fast enough. I’m not certain just when that little one’s last meal was, but by the looks of it, it had been several days.
I started wondering at the outset of the video, how something like a little boy starving to death could still happen in a world as rich as ours? How can little ones be tossed aside like this and forgotten? Thank goodness for the man who saw the plight of the little boy and offered him food, even if it was only bread. I’m sure the little boy’s stomach would not have been able to tolerate more than bread at this point.
It’s inconceivable that in today’s age, there are still little boys and girls starving in plain sight and people just walk on by except for the few who actually stop to offer their assistance and food.
It was heartbreaking to see this little one. God only knows what was going on inside his little mind. How was he going to survive would be one of the questions I’m sure he was asking.
Survival would be the only thing that is left when someone is in this condition. The human instinct to survive is strong in our selves. We want to survive at all costs.
And yet, the little boy still gave back 90% of the bread for fear he had taken too much even though he clearly needed the food.
What drives people to allow for the untold suffering experienced by children at the hands of warmongers in areas where there is war, or famine, or drought, or whatever the circumstance is.
The reality is, that this SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING IN 2025.
I recognize that in poor countries the circumstances are vastly different than that in wealthier countries. But it behooves wealthier countries to come to the rescue of countries at risk of their people starving to death.
When I saw that little boy, I looked down at my girth and saw just how unjust this world is.
It truly was shocking to see that little boy huddled in the corner of the bench and wall, trying to remain invisible to people and not comes to anyone’s attention for fear of reprisal.
I can only suppose that this was his thought process. But it has been my experience that when someone tries to remain unseen or invisible to others, it is generally because of a previous bad experience where things didn’t go so well.
For that little one to be in his condition in a village where there were full grown well fed people while he was no more than maybe 8 or 9 years old and if he weighed 60 lbs, that would be pushing it.
That made me think of the Palestinians in Gaza and the ongoing acts of genocide against Palestinians by the Israelis.
A people once persecuted and hunted to extinction now committing the same crimes as they endured. My mind can’t wrap itself around that fact. They became the monsters they once fled from.
I recognize that most of the Jewish population do not feel the need to hunt the Palestinians to extinction, and that it is solely the government pushing this agenda.
Netanyahu to be specific.
An old man’s ego causing the destruction of a people.
Hitler, caused the destruction of the Jews – another megalomaniac old man.
How can one man hold such power to sway people to their cause? To sway nations to their cause so that they would side with a nation that is hunting the Palestinians to extinction. Causing the genocide of an entire culture.
They rally around the Israeli government with cheers and hurrahs and he’s a jolly good fellow while women, children, and men are hunted to extinction, just like the Jewish people were in World War II.
The Palestinians are starving too as food relief rarely gets to them as convoys are delayed or destroyed en route.

What is it about this time in the world that is creating such monsters? Men without souls. Men without consciences. Men without hearts.
Just cruelty and mercilessness and men completely devoid of compassion and humanity.
How can this world hope to survive when it is people such as this that run the nations?
I can only imagine how many people have already died at the hands of Netanyahu. How many died of the bombings, bullets, raids, starvation, lack of medical care, nutrition, housing and basic necessities for basic bodily functions. Plagues were started because of these and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them resurface again today given the conditions the Palestinians are being forced to live in. Israelis forcing starvation onto Palestinians like they were forced to starve in concentration camps. They are meting out the same injustice they suffered at the hands of Stalin and Hitler. Now we wait for the furnaces to start up.
Is that next?
Or will it be the human experiments next and torture chambers?
